and uh... check out my logo... i decided on it about 3 weeks ago. wink wink.
You could try this too:
Add the following lines to your page structure portion of your page:
#header {
background: url("http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2679/1251/1600/banner.7.png") no-repeat bottom center #fff;
}
#header {
padding: 0;
margin: 0 auto;
height: 171px;
width: 100%;
background-color: #fff;
}
#headerimg {
margin: 0;
height: 171px;
width: 100%;
}
The put the following portion of code right after <_div id="content"_>. I had to put underscores to make the code show up correctly in the comments. Remove where they appear:
<_div id="header">
<_a href="<$BlogURL$>" title="<$BlogTitle$>"><_div id="headerimg"><_/div><_/a>
<_/div>
This should also make the image linkable back to your title page.
jay, you're my hero. and Code Guy from work...and IBM Guy..y'all all rock, thanks!
Like it!! very nice!! yeah, ditch the polka dots. they are so last week.
nice job!
uh oh. i'm scared. i just tried to change it to a different template and um...some weird stuff started going on.
i think maybe i'll wait on that one! baby steps....baby steps...
dammit. it took. now i gotta start over................. CRAP!
I took a look at your source, and you can do the following to the content portion of your source. Add the same lines above as in my previous post, but with the following modification:
Change #header to #kheader so it doesn't conflict with the existing #header definition.
#kheader {
background: url("http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2679/1251/1600/banner.7.png") no-repeat bottom center #fff;
}
#kheader {
padding: 0;
margin: 0 auto;
height: 171px;
width: 100%;
background-color: #fff;
}
You can still add the following line
#headerimg {
margin: 0;
height: 171px;
width: 100%;
}
since #headerimg doesn't conflict with anything. Also add the following. It's the same as in my above comment but with "kheader" as the id instead of "header"
<_div id="kheader">
<_a href="<$BlogURL$>" title="<$BlogTitle$>"><_div id="headerimg"><_/div><_/a>
<_/div>
Again remove the underscores. I think that should help at least with the banner showing up.
some serious commenting going on here...
1) i like the logo. is it permanent already? ;-)
2) with that logo you need to be "little miss runner shorts"!
Is cool. Like the border!
I really like your banner. Awesome work!
Oooooh. Recent graduate into the class known as marathoner, and now a budding web page designer. What will she attempt next.
Hmmm, possibly a triathlon with Running Pol? Well, if he doesn't drown himself before winter is up.
Nice redesign. The nice thing is that you can play with the site, change it around, etc.
BAHHHHH! okay. things are coming along. slowly.
how might i scoot over all my links? they're like all up in my post's area giving my posts no room to breathe.
they need to SCOOT!
